Bavarian National Forest(Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald)[1]

The Bavarian Forest runs along the German border with the Czech Republic and becomes part of the Bohemian Forest in the northeast; it is thus part of the largest continuous area of forest in central Europe.

The 46-square-mile Bavarian Forest National Park near Grafenau includes nearly untouched forests as well as more than a hundred miles of footpaths for hikers.[2]
