Lake Pontchartrain is a brackish estuary located in southeastern Louisiana in the United States. The city of New Orleans is situated along the entire southern end. In the 1800's it's shores were a popular locations for voodoo rituals.
By the Lakeside Drive, between the country club and Piedmont Pier, was the site of one of the Voodoo Murders that first leads Gabriel Knight down his story.
