Margaret came from a very wealthy Creole family of the New Orleans. Beautiful and reckless, she fell in love with Philip Knight and they married 2 weeks later, defying her family. As a result she had no money from her family, except a trust fund from her great-aunt who happened to like Philip.
They had a son, Gabriel Knight. It was her money who supported her family as Philip's painting couldn't.
Gabriel was only 8 when Philip and her were killed in a car crash. They were interred in the St. Louis Cemetery.
She was the last of the Templetons, but her family did not want to have anything with the Knights.
